Vauxhall's ever popular Corsa has been around for longer than many of our young drivers have! Since its launch in 1993 the Corsa has consistently stood its ground in the battle of the superminis.

The Corsa has long been among the UK's most popular first cars. Partly because driving instructors love it, so for many of us it provides a reassuringly familiar introduction to driving. But the Corsa also does a fine job of catering to key young driver needs: it's affordable to buy and run, it's practical and it's fun to drive.

Our Fuel & Go offer helps you to secure a new Vauxhall Corsa with a low deposit and free insurance, or a contribution towards your deposit, so get a quote now on a new Vauxhall Corsa!

Now in its fourth generation, the new Corsa has upped the ante with improved engines, updated kit and sharp new styling! With a wide range of Corsa models including Design, SE, SRi, SRi Vx-line, Vauxhall’s ecoFLEX engine, and the option to choose, automatic or manual, you are bound to find one that suits you!

Most of the range falls within the least expensive bands for road tax – meaning the maximum you will pay in road tax for a year is £130. Looking at fuel efficiency the estimated fuel cost for 100 miles in a Corsa is £8 - £11 for petrol cars (based on June 2015 fuel prices).

Low insurance group ratings start as low as 2, meaning the Corsa is also cheaper to insure.

The latest Corsa comes with a three year warranty or 60,000 miles – depending on which comes first. Just remember you’ll need to service your car once year or at 20,000 miles (whichever comes first!).

Available in either 3 or 5 door models, the Corsa offers a fairly spacious cabin in whichever version you go for, although 5 door models gain a bit of extra headroom in the back and offer superior accessibility, which might make life easier if you are regularly carting your mate’s about. The Corsa also delivers a decent amount of boot space (it beats the Fiesta on capacity, 285 litres to 276 litres) so you could easily fit all your camping kit for Glasto in the boot!

The Vauxhall Corsa was given a Euro NCAP rating of 4 out of 5 including an adult occupancy safety rating of 79%, It is fitted with 6 airbags and has a longer nose that helps absorbs more energy in case of an accident.

Most models come with Bluetooth connectivity for mobile phones and LED day running lights up front so that you are more visible on the road. Additional safety equipment, such as forward collision alert and a system that warns you when the car starts to wander from its lane, is available.
